Shifts gears until the "Service Engine" light comes on, then won't shift gears. Getting P1776 and PO700 codes. Any idea what is wrong??
SOURCE: po700 and p1776
P0700 is EATX code present.
It simply means that the engine computer has noticed that the transmission computer has a dtc in it. This causes the Pcm (engine computer) to turn the check engine light on. You will need to have the TCM (trans computer) checked for codes to know what to diagnose.
error code P1776 - Replace rear solenoid switch
Likely both related The P1776 probably kicked off the P0700 notification.
Hope that helps! Happy Motoring!

I need the CODES this year has valve body problems for tcc slipping on these & shift timing need more information
SOURCE: ck engine light on - no code
Check engine light with no codes usually means a PCM reset is happening. EBP shorting, ICP shorting, aftermarket "performance chip". PIDS need to be monitored to eliminate sensors. IDMs (Injector Driver Modules) can also cause this. IDM's are separate from the PCM/ECM (engine computer).
Testimonial: "THANKS! no custom chip- burned valve pasthru conect so will start over from there- now have code-P1280-P1293 Thanks Again- Eric"

You don't replace a transmission
Worse case you remove and rebuild
Go to a trans repair shop for a road test
and diagnoses
