You have a blown fuseable link under the hood. Look in the driver side you see wires wrapped up unwrap and check each wire. Replace blown wire and should fire up.
alot of times as parts heat up the metal in the part expands...this is with any metal structure...buildings bridges etc...many moving parts inside your vehicle account for this expansion and contraction with clearances...with that said it could be as simple as a good carb clean...inside the carbuerator is ports or the proper term jets that at certain RPMs different jets are activated...my suggestion would be at worst scenario your due for a good carb cleaning :) get in there and scrub her up good.
They should fit but they are alot wider than the original tires. They will likely hit the frame when you make a hard turn so you will have to adjust your parking skills accordingly. You should double check the width of the rear wheel wells although there should be enough room to clear the bigger tires. You should get a wider 8" rim intead of the stock 7" and the wide rim will have to be offset so the extra inch is on the inside of the car. Hope this helps.
ok ... it could be that the carb is so gummed up with old fuel that none is getting into the engine..... some trouble shooting will be involved if you buy the vehicle
