SOURCE: 92 lexus ls 400 check engine and traction control light came on at the same time, 92 lexus ls 400.

the track off light will come everytime yhe check engine light comes on. this is normal. you need to have the check engine light checked first.you can go to your local parts house they will scan it for so you at least see what area you problem is in and then you can start from there. let me know lf you find out youe engine codes.

Generally the bushings aren't too expensive (likely about 25-30 each...But, unless you have done this kind of work, driving the bushings out and installing them can be difficult without a press. I've done many in-shop and its nothing like the ones I've done at remote locations using a hammer and chisels etc. You can do this yourself but I'd opt to do the r&r at home and have a machine shop do the actual bushing pressing. If you damage the arm ends you will need to replace the arm or do a bunch of bending to get the bushings back in place.
If you do have a press, than go at it!!

SOURCE: Fuse Box ( cover) diagram for a 95 Lexus LS 400 is missing.

check the wiring harness beside the hinge that moves when you close the trunk.i have seen the wiring get pinched and the ground gets broken. the tail lights have separate left and right side fuses.get a test light, and with the ignition in the on position, there should be power on both sides of all the fuses.the atc type have little test pins on them.ground the test light and put the tip on the fuse.if there is power, the light will come on. if a fuse does not light up the light on both sides,it is open.since the fuses are see thru,it is apparent if it is blown as the metal inside will be burnt.

I have a 1992 Lexus LS400 that has a loud knocking noise in the rear of the car only when I'm driving straight or turn the wheel to the left it goes away when I turn to the right what could it be?

the lexus has independent rear suspension which is more complexed than solid axle suspension.so there are many components that can cause your problem so this is what you must check lower and upper control arm bushes stabilizer links and stabilizer bushes diff mountings subframe bushes inner and outer cv joints and propshaft universal joints and carrier bearings

Top suspension arm bushes worn on my 1996 Lexus LS400

If you can find replacement bushings, take the control arm to a machine shop and have them replaced. The bushings are pressed in and you would spend the entire weekend trying to get them out by hand.

1990 Lexus LS 400 Right Front Suspention Thud Noise

most probably a torn lower suspension arm rubber bush that would not show up if the car was on a 4 post hoist
there is a problem there as the noise would not be evident if there was nothing wrong
different tire pressures will give different noise when hit with a tire lever ( a trick used by truck drivers to check for flat/ under inflated tires
good tire solid sound
low pressure tire a dull sound

My 96 ls400 suspension noise

front lower ball joints are possible cause, they wear out and start all kinds of noises, uppers are also suspect, either the ball joint or the control arm bushings. Did you put the anti squeek shims behind the pads?
