Verada jerks at high speeds

I have a 2003 Mitsubishi Verada (V6 3.5L) sedan. Recently I had to jumpstart the car. Since then whenever the speed reaches 60, 70 or 80 km/hr the car jerks as if it's pushing back or the gears are not changing smoothly. Had the transmission serviced but no improvement. Any advice on what could be causing the problem would be greatly appreciated.

You may have a blown fuse. check that first and if none then i would suggest taking to a pro and having a scan on it. could be a sensor.

SOURCE: Transmission seems to slipping....

Dear vdizon it seems your bearings are slipping inside your transmission.
This is usually caused by inproper use or stress to the transmission. Changing gears at high revs and double clutching may have caused the bearings to wear, or a service on the gearbox has not been performed by factory recomendation. I advise you to book your car into your mechanic to confirm the problem before the proble escalades.
I hope this has helped you.

SOURCE: Low growling noise in front end

typically, this sounds like a wheel bearing. To test, the noise can often be altered by accellerating /decelerating, and more evident by turning the vehicle.

The truning process is to put load on one side, then the other. if the right side has a damaged bearing, for example, the noise would be noticibly altered (less in this case) when turning to the right. Load would be slightly less. Testing speed in the area of 25 to 35 mph.

Do I need to get a new head unit to put an amp and subwoofer in my mitsubishi verada?

Amps have a high and low input. You can run some speaker wire from your rear speakers to the high input on your amp. It comes with a small white plug with four wires. Use the green for one side, and the grey for the other! So no, you do not!

Hyundai Atos ( manual) dosen't pick up speed and jerks

Hi there, it could be a change of spark plugs will solve your problems. I'm driving one too but found that it jerked when accelerating. So I read up and presumed that the old plugs might be the cause. After changing new spark plugs, it doesn't jerk anymore.

I have mitsubishi pejero IO 2003 model car. RPM of the car shows high when driving (around 4000 rpm at 100km speed) but rpm is normal without accelerator. after travelling 60km car gives jerks and speed...

Pull your transmission (gearbox) oil dipstick and look at the oil. It should be a clean red colour. If brown or black change the oil as soon as possible because it is burnt and old ... you have slipping.
