Turbo 350? if so it can be that it is over full or sometimes the gears that are in the tranny that sling the tranny fluid up will get bent or worn and will sling oil to the wrong spots and that will cause your gears to get hot and expand and that can cause it to shoot oil up your dip stick

My pontiac g6 was very low on transmission fluid, how much do i need to put in. The auto store guy said half a qt. Put half qt. In and transmission doesn't even shift out of first gear.

Step 1: Start your car and warm up the engine.

Step 2: With the engine running remove the transmission fluid dip stick, wipe off the fluid and reinsert.

Step 3: Remove the dip stick and check the fluid level.

Step 4: If it is low stop the engine and add about a cup of fluid using a funnel into the dip stick tube.

Step 5: Restart the engine and recheck the fluid level.

Continue filling and checking until the dip stick shows it is full on the stick. Do not guess as too much fluid can be as harmful as too little.

I have a 1977 Mercedes 300d the fluid burps out of dipstick tube and unable to competly fill trans will blow out while driving or after I park.

Trans' may be already full. The dip stick is attached to the trans' pan corner and out of the way of rotating parts.

With engine idling, dip trans very quickly...fluid should be below lower mark if fluid is cold and just below the upper mark if warm.

Where do I put in transmission fluid in a 2005 GMC Envoy

It goes in the transmission dip stick tube. You may need a small funnel to fit the opening on the tube. Make sure the engine and transmission are warm and the engine is running when you check the fluid. Wait a minute after adding the fluid to check it so it can all drain down the tube or it will cause false readings.

Where is the dip stick to check the transmisssion fluid on 2004 mercury mountineer

There's no dip stick on your truck, transmission fluid get check at transmission pan, on drain plug on the center of it, will have a small hex screw, with engine running in park, remove center screw, if fluid comes out, level is good, if no fluid comes out, fluid will have to be pump up through there, hope this was very helpful.

Where do you add transmission fluid in 2006 chevy uplander?there is no fluid bbut we can't find where to add more.also we herd weird pulling sound and van started to over heat some.Thank you for your help

Automatic transmition fluid is added through the dip[stick tube. You should use a funnel that is long with a small opening. Auto Parts stores carry funnels just for this purpose. Add small amounts and check the level frequently when adding fluid. the difference between low and full is usually about 1/2 of a quart. If you over fill an automatic its a pain to get the excess fluid out. Check the fluid regularly for a while and add as needed or take it to a mechanic and have them do it.

Sounds like the engine can't breath,
make sure pcv valve is good,or oil cap is vented.
your engine is building up pressure and has no where to vent,so it blows the easiest thing, the dip stick

Transmission slow to start

the trasmission fluid leval may be low or your cluches are slipping. check the trasmission fluid leval with the engan wormed up and the trasmition in park pull the dip stike with yellow on it and check the level alsow smell the dip stick if it smells burnt the the tran fluid need to be changed.
if it is low put tranmition fluid in it by using a long funal and put the fluid in the tranmition dip stike tube. If the leval is full and the fulid is not burnt it might be trasnmiton cluches and the tranmition needs to be rebilt.
