If you have a long flat screw driver you can go through the front grill and press the hood down and move the latch to the right and the hood will open.

1999 Isuzu Trooper door won't open

those door latches use a very tense spring that engage the closing mechansim. If the handle lifts without any restiction at all,,the sping is missing...if the handle when pulled or lifted offers slight resistance, this means it is very weak and needs replaced. it does not have enough rigidity to release the lock works from the lock pin that is fixed to the inside door facing.

My hood on my isuzuki trooper won't open, some people say the hood release is frozen what should I do to open my hood?

You have probably allready tried this but............. Have someone pull the hood release handle while you press down then lift on the hood a few times. ( down / up / down / up ) Often the mechanism is just dirty or rusty .

My hood wont pop open on my 1999 isuzu trooper.

If the cable is not broke have someone pull on the latch inside while you repeatedly press down on the hood. It might take a few tries but it should finally pop. Once it does open spray the latch and linkage with a silicone spray to get it lubricated and do this frequently to prevent it from happening again. If the cable is broke inside at the handle you will have to remove the kick panel, strip the coating back on the cable and pull the cable with a pair of pliers it should release. If the cable is broken under the hood, you will need to remove the grill and use a screw driver to release the latch.
