My 1997 chevy blazer caught on fire. The problem was the wireing. Is there a recall on it.

Call any GM dealers sevice dept. wioth your VIN in hand and tell them that you've had a wiring issue (don't tell them of the fire just yet). and ask the service writer to run the vin for recalls or service bullins about the wiring or the items that were involved in your fire. If the vehical burnt down you might decide to let officials handle it ( fire or Police) as they may say you need a lawyer to help you recover even if GM knows about a problem. The one I know about is the O2 senser wiring shorting to the exhaust pipe and the resulting fuse failure makes the vehical shut down. but theirs no fire.
