Hope that helps you out!

Nissan navara d22 chassi numbers

These numbers Engine and Chassis/VIN number should be written on the identification plate. This plate is located on the inside of the engine bay. It is attached up the rear of the engine bay, right hand side on the firewall. Just in front of the driver in a right hand drive vehicle, in front of the passenger on a l/h drive vehicle.

Where is the Chassis number on a 1970 Galaxie chassis. I'm trying to identify a chassis in a built up car. It has the typical Ford Tie bars on the front end and a diff mounted with the conventional 3 link....

most if not all american cars up untill about 2005 do not have a chassis number ,only a metal plate under the bonnet ,this causes no end of problems when importing a vehicle into spain where paperwork is known as food without working for it ,or comida sin trabajo .Trust me on this one and do what i say and thats to get a set of stamps and mark up some masking tape with measured marks and stick this to the chassis under the bonnet where its easy to see and stamp it yourself not forgotting the star stamp at either end of the number and if the vehicle doesnt come with a number invent one. Also invent on a computer with shift headed ford or whater paper and make sure it shows the chassis number engine number and the size of the tyres and speed rating ,power of engine ,height length weight how many gears dry plate clutch 75amp hour battery 55amp alternator or whatever how many seats ect or you just end up going here and their paying out hard earnt cash to some supposed expert to put a rubber stamp on something because they are a member of some club of experts =???.Also find a decent supplier of rubber stamps who will make you some from a copy on a bit of paper¿¿¿¿ But this is spain remember

I'm russian. I've got Ford Escape XLT 2005 v6 3.0 and I can't find engine sequence/engine number/or product sequence number on the engine. Please, help me to find it.

we have the same problem here in spain with american built vehicles ,When i come to do the paperwork and their is no engine number and the spanish authorities insist on numbers on everything and three copies of it all with stamps on.So when i get a crysler gran voyager or ford mercury with no chassis number stamped in the actual chassis ,just a silly plate in the dash which means nothing here .I do a bit of doctoring before the vehicle goes for its mechanical inspection and they evan measure it for height and width and length and they look for the stamped chassis number which on all american vehicles i take to the test and they are always in the same place .Drivers side on top of suspension ,and engine number stamped on a nice area of the block, thats accessable ,if no engine number exists then use the last 6 numbers of the chassis number .----know what i mean

Are the VIN number and chasis number on the vehicle the same? If not, where can i find the chasis number on Hyundai tucson?

Short answer is no.
The VIN number is usually on a small plate attached to main chassis, often on the side of the bike.
The Chassis number is usually found stamped/etched into the chassis on or around the steering pipe (the forward most point of the actual chassis frame). This can be hard to see but it should be there.
The Engine number is often found stamped/etched into the top of the bottom end of the engine, Sometimes near the oil cap.
