2001 lincoln continental rear right

Hi

1. Open the Car's trunk.

2 .Grab the edge of the trunk's cloth-covered trim that is directly behind the taillight needing replaced. Pull the trim away from the taillight assembly, exposing the rear of the bulb sockets.

3 .Grab the rear of the upper-most socket and rotate it counterclockwise, unlocking it. Pull the socket from the vehicle. Notice the bulb is pressed into the socket.

4 .Grab the bulb and pull it from the socket. A slight wiggling of the bulb may help loosen it from the socket.

5. Line the new bulb up with the socket and press it in into the socket until it is fully seated.

6 .Push the bulb and socket in the hole they were removed from, and turn it clockwise to lock it into place.

7. Perform steps 2 through 6 for the bulb on the reverse side of the Town Car, if necessary.

8 .Push the trim back over the light assembly and close the trunk.

Is there a fuse for

Dear Gtuckeriii,

Unlikely that speakers will require a fuse for them as they normally will operate by using the audio signal from the stereo or amplifier directly. If the speakers are not working, it might be best to have thes tested, then check to make sure your tereo and amplifier are working as they should.

yours sincerely

I have a 01 Lincoln Continental and one day it

hello.
If they were testing the battery, they probably took it off. it's quite possible they never tighten up the battery cable. Open up the hood and go to where the battery is and make sure everything is snug. You should not be able to move the red or black cable around. If they do you can have them check that out or tighten it yourself. They could have stripped the bolt. Make sure ground cable that is attached to the body of the car is snug also There still might be a problem with the alternator.
hope this helps

Shop is wanting to charge

Yes, that is extremely high, the best thing to do is price the fuel pump yourself, I work at a shop and we (and most places) charge $50.00 and hour labor. It usually takes about 2 hours (depending on what type of vehicle it is) to replace it. Most places will let you supply your own part then just charge you for the labor, which is the best route to go.

I have a 2001 lincoln

P1774 - Link Gear Shift Module / TCM

This means the computer has detected a slippiage. First thing you can do is a transmission pressure test, it should be 62-81 psi while in park or drive and 110-120psi while in revese. If pressure is low the problem could be the pump, a external or internal leak, pressure regulator valve, or epc soenoid/circuit. Otherwise you could start by replacing the EPC solenoid and the pressure regulator valve. If that does not fix the problem you would probably want to bring the vehicle into a transmission shop to have them diagnose the problem.

The EPC solednoid is the most common cause of this from what I'm aware but the torque converter itself could be the problem also but you would want to have every other possible cause checked before replacing the converter since that is expensive and time consuming.

Hope this helps (remember to rate this).
