check voltage going to the front socket with a tester if good chek the ground on same

Your trunk latch is coupled with the rear door lock, push the door lock down then lift it up, do not use the auto lock/unlock. It should release the trunk lock, I had the same problem.

This is a ground problem. Clean all grounds under the hood. Follow all wires to find grounds. More than likely close to passenger headlight. Hope this helps.

unfortunately this is probably correct if the car got very hot.
most new cars have alloy heads and if the car gets too hot due to cooling problem the head can warp.
a new head gasket and having the head skimmed flat again is one solution, the other is a new engine.

if you want a second opinion then most garages will be able to do a pressure test on the cooling system which would confirm a blown head gasket

Turn the weel back and forth as your pulling on the key may unlock the weel to relive pressure and try after that if nither work drive it to a locksmith shop befor the key breaks cause after that its service calls charges for them to come out.

Then post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels,barcodes or stamped in the metal casing.

Check the fuses that powers the fans and relay to make sure the fans have voltage when the relay energises. Also check the temp sending unit that reads the coolant temperature in the engine, it tells the fan relay to energize and turn the fans on to cool the motor down.

You will need to call your local Volvo dealer and provide them with your VIN number. They will look up the code and give it to you.

You may need to call multiple dealers as not all will give you the code over the phone.

The best solution I can offer is that you get teh Haynes repair manual on your vehicle so you have instructions on how to properly remove the radio without damaging the Dashboard area. Part of the dashboard must be removed to get to the radio.
