My 05 honda pilot has radiator fluid and both cooling fans are turning on but when i sit still with or without the a/c it still gets really hot transmission was replaced a month or so ago

things I would be concerned about. Given that the transmission had work done recently I would check the oil transmission level. I would also make sure that the transmission oil cooling lines to and from the radiator are open. Also look into the transmission oil cooler at the bottom of the radiator is not obstructed. Some Honda transmissions come with an external in line filter that should be replaced if you are doing work on the transmission. Let me know if it helps

I am having an intermittent grinding noise that

Check the brakes to see if they are sticking and the pads not low. Check the wheel bearings. Jack up each wheel one at a time and spin the wheel and listen for abnormal sounds. Make sure the engine is off and do not ever get under the vehicle without proper jack stands! This is the first steps I would do, if not, you might want to check drive axles and related parts. Let me know what you find out. Also, this happens only when the vehicle is in motion? Thanks.

My radio in my 05' Honda pilot stopped working.

In my case the solution was a fuse on the passenger side inside fuse box. It is not listed as a fuse for the radio but it is none the less. If your cigarette lighter isn't working either its the fuse. On my 2004 it was fuse # 9 a 15A fuse.

How to reprogram my 2005

The great news is you can program your 2005 Honda Pilot Key Fob yourself. All you have to do is follow these instructions: Most remotes can be self-programmed. If these procedures do not work, you must have your remote programmed by a professional automotive locksmith or dealership. Procedure #1 Obtain all remote transmitters for this vehicle. Entering programming mode erases all remotes, so all remotes must be programmed during this procedure.
  1. Turn ignition to ON (ll). (ON is the position just shy of starting the vehicle without cranking engine)
  2. Press and hold the valet/disarm button located between the AM/FM and CD/TAPE button. The vehicle will respond by locking and unlocking the doors, indicating the vehicle is in programming mode. (You must continue to hold the valet button until instructed to release)
  3. Within five seconds, press the LOCK or UNLOCK button on the remote. The vehicle will respond by locking and unlocking the doors, indicating the vehicle has programmed that remote.
  4. Within ten seconds, Repeat step 3. for all additional remotes to be programmed.
  5. Release valet/disarm button to exit programming mode. Test all remotes.
Procedure #2 Obtain all remote transmitters for this vehicle and read the instructions prior to programming. Entering programming mode will erase all previously programmed remotes for this vehicle. You must have all remotes available for programming including working ones.
  • Enter vehicle and close all doors
  • Each of the following steps must be completed within five seconds of completing the previous step. If you take longer than five seconds or make a mistake, you must start the entire procedure over.
  • Insert the key into the ignition, hold one remote in your left hand with additional remotes close by. We recommend taking remotes off the key ring to perform the procedure. When the instructions say to press the LOCK button, you should press the LOCK button on the remote for approximately one second then release it.
Perform each of the next three steps in order, then repeat all three steps two more times for a total of three times each.
  1. Turn the ignition to the ON position, marked II.
  2. Press the LOCK button on the remote.
  3. Turn the ignition to the OFF position, marked I. (Do steps 1-3 three times)
Next, turn the ignition switch to ON position, marked II. 4. Using the same remote, press the LOCK button again. The door locks should cycle indicating the vehicle has ENTERED programming mode. 5. Using the same remote, press the LOCK button again. The door locks should cycle indicating the vehicle has PROGRAMMED that remote. If you have other remotes to program then repeat step 5 with each additional remote one after another. Step 5 must be completed within ten seconds for each additional remote. You may program up to three remotes. 6. Turn the ignition to OFF. Test all remotes. If your remote has a trunk button you will need to hold that button down for several seconds for that function to operate.

Unlock radio code honda pilot 2005 ex s/n U1114

1. Look in glove box for small sticker with numbers, should be 5 digits with numbers no greater then 6.2. Pull out the ashtray and see if the sticker is on the back of there.3. Pull radio from dash and write down radio serial number and call local dealer with that number and they will be able to get the code for you.4. If you happen to have all the books from the dealer look in the 'HONDA SERVICE HISTORY' book, not the owners manual. It should be on the first page in the AUDIO CODE box.Someone put on here that if you hold the 1 and 6 preset buttons and then turn on the radio it will read out the serial number for the radio. This will keep you from pulling the radio from dash. I haven't tried it I keep forgetting when I go to work. I just tried on my 07 Element and it didn't work. It just went into diagnostic mode. I'll try on an older model and report back

I have a 2005 honda pilot and it has no power on

acc and radio are on different circuits. Don't just check fuses, but check voltage at fuses - use a small multi meter and test at each point - including at the radio. I am guessing there is a relay for these in the relay box and it maybe malfunctioning.
