Heater issue
This sounds like a thermostat that is fully open all the time. It allows the engine coolant to warm when sitting still (no air being forced thru the radiator), but even that goes away when moving, since the air through the radiator will remove that heat from the coolant. Does you van have a temp gauge? Is so, at full operating temp. most vehicles have coolant temps of 180-195 degrees F, depending on the thermostat installed. Anything less indicates a thermostat that is starting to malfunction.
Heater moter is plusating
I doubt it . The resistor pad or block of resistors is the actual speed setting for the fan (1--2--3) Resistor blocks are prone to burn out because they get very hot during operation. Relays are used to allow a small amount of current to go through switches and wires . This small current then energises a coil in the relay that closes a set of points that allows larger wires to work to carry the heavier current
Van just stopped running on highway and rotor not
This shouldn't really be in computers. It's either a fuel or ignition system issue. If it doesn't studder or feel like it's shaking when the issue happens then more likely ignition. Could be Spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap or if it has a newer ignition system coil packs are typical causes of your issue.
Engine fan turns on and off when a/c is on
The radiator cooling fans cycle as needed. They only come on when the temp sensor tells them to and when the proper temp is reached they turn off. If they ran all the time your engine would not get warm enough to run properly.
Dome lights dim when the fan turns on
Go through all the switches and controls and make sure everything is turned off, wait 15 minutes and try again. A battery in good condition may recover enough to start the engine. Driving the car for an hour or so in daylight may recharge the battery.
