E53 x5 window lock button on drivers control make R-rear window go down. Driver window switch only works R-R window when locked. Rear window switch doesn't work at all. Any ideas?
Check the body control module. all window functions are controlled by it.

Read the trouble codes for your automatic transmission using a scan tool. I like the wireless ELM327 OBD2 adapter and OBD Fusion app. The trouble codes will tell you why the transmissiion is putting the car in limp mode.

My 2001 BMW X5 is still getting an error message of Engine Failsafe Program. I have replaced the oil level sensor, and the upstream O2 sensors, because those are the codes that are coming up.
You are trying to fix transmission problems by reading engine codes. Doesn't work. Get someone to read the transmission codes.

Check fuses first, then check the wiring connections to the buttons. Possible the plugs are corroded and just need to be unplugged, cleaned, and plugged back in.
