replace gas cap

This sounds like a bad control or connection at the controls, remove the control and make sure the connector is all the way in, if connector is good then i would say control is bad ,but first check for any broken wires coming into door,theres a rubber boot in the middle where door hinges are pop boot back and check each wire as they sometimes break from the opening and closing of the door. hope this helps.

Hi yes the hard 1st to 2nd shift is pretty firm in these TrailBlazers. If the shift softens much or becomes delayed they will set a Check Engine Light. Happy motoring

Probably. If they scanned the ECM that came up then, YES! Do Not buy a cheap or wrong gas cap!!!

I believe the reset button is on the fuse block Don't quote me on this but that is were GM always had them.....If it is there turn the ignition key to the ON position and press & hold the button in for 15 seconds

check the cables going into the driver door check its grip first.

most likley a pully. Remove the serpentine belt to see if it goes away. Then spin the pulleys by hand and feel for a clean spin.

Or its possible the alternator is being demanded on. When a battery is on its way out the alternator will whine trying to always keep it charged.

Probably a loose or broken vacuum line under the hood somewhere. With the engine running, wiggle all hoses around and listen for a hissing. Check the one that goes to the vacuum pot that bolts to the under side of the hood. There is also one that runs just on the left side of the air breather that is prone to cracking from heat.

no its not! if you disconnect the battery you will loos the radio coad and the alarm will need to be reset up,

the ignition switch is a very common problem with these vehicles. when the problem is occuring check the pink wire coming off the ignition switch and see if there is power. the computer controls the starter on this vehicle and if there is insuficient voltage going to the ecu it will not power up.

That means you have a Check Engine Light on, You need to have the cose read by a OBD II Scanner so the Trouuble Code can be diagnosed. If you go to AutoZone they can read your code at no charge to you.

You need to have your pressues check at lower rpms it sounds like your a/c compressor doesn't have enough of a charge to remove the heat from the air but at higher rpms it can because higher rpms means higher flow and higher pressure.

Usually the failure is the sending unit in the fuel tank.

Thre is an oil pressure switch which shoul contact as the oil pressure increses when the engine is started, Failure of this could be leading to the indication, located aside the engine, watch out for a wire leading to it, replace with same type, still if the light comes on you have some serious problem to investigate. Have you changed the oil?check this out
