This is a fault in the fan speed sensor circuit. You may need to check the connector or replace this sensor. Remember to have someone clear the computer. Some defects will clear automatically and others need time or a scanner to clear.

Dashboard light comes and goes

you possibly have a small short or even the driving lights sorry folder lights are drawing too much power from the system. For the power to come and go you either have a circuit breaker that is overheating putting the lights out and then cooling down and bringing them back on again or one short in the fog lights themselves.Regards

Won't start in cold weather

Are you saying the starter doesn't spin the engine over? The click it comes from the engine? If so then you have a defective starter solenoid, the design of the starter used in this truck is Japanese, the problem comes from the heavy electrical contact in the starter solenoid get burned away, when it is cold the large metal contacts shrink and make no connection, heat it up and the contacts expand just enough to make the connection and supply battery power to the starter motor itself. Replace the starter and the problem will go away if the answer was yes to my 1st two questions. If you want to replace just the solenoid parts then you can get them most likely from HERE

I have a 2007 TrailBlazer LT. Every once in a

Service bulletin # 1750177. Could also be the steering wheel position sensor. May need to be replaced. Many have been found to be faulty. One other thing could be a faulty PCM. If I were you, I would save the headache and get a qualified Mechanic to check it for you. If it is the bulletin, then it will require the ST Module be reprogrammed and not many people have the equipment to handle doing this laying around. Good luck.

No buttons on the driver

Two possibilities, broken wire in harness that goes between body and door or a bad driver's door module. You can temporarily swap in the passenger side module to troubleshoot.

Check compression on the misfiring cylinder, these engines burn valves and have valve seat problems. You may have to have a shop diagnose it if you have checked all the easy parts.

How do I change the

  • This does sound like your mega fuse to be honest. They don't cost but $20 - $25 and are very very easy to change. 10 minutes tops.
  • First thing to remember is that for this the positive is BLACK and the negative is RED for this application. Don't ask me why GM did this but they did. That's important to remember.
  • Towards the firewall under your hood by the ECM computer. There is a big black box and at the end is the mega fuse.
  • The two bolts on the right is what you remove.
  • Pull the fuse out.
  • Put the new fuse in.
  • Replace the two bolts.
  • Done.
  • See picture for reference.
