Stuck in 4WD Hi
Try disconnecting the battery for 2 minutes then reconnecting to see if that may reset your system. If not check for transmission codes in the computer

Why wont my vehicle start when there is a lock symbol on the dash?
I had this same problem with my 2004 gmc envoy. Mine was a key problem. I had a 2001 impala that had identical keys that contain a chip that is read by the ignition switch. Both of my keys were near each other on the keyring and when the impala key was to close to the ignition the truck would not start and the light came on that looks like a lock. I took the impala key off the keychain and never had another problem.

What does it mean when the Stabiliytack Off message is displayed and what do i need to do to fix it.
this gm s stability control for vehicles their are sensors and controller --what it does is acts like your abs system it keeps vehicle on path if going into a corner to fast will sense it and apply enough brake to slow so wont slide or excessive roll in vehicle ---problems can be a stablitrack sensor--abs sensor-- bad hub---bad suspension part--out of alignment these can cause a check light ----you probably wont feel any difference in you ride

Left Turn Signal works sporadically
Could be the relay, But I have recently had a situation where the bulb was having poor contact in the socket, and it worked very sporadically. I solved my problem by removing my bulb, gently bend the wires on my bulb out like a rainbow, be easy, don't bend them much, just make sure they aren't flat against the bulb. Do both sides and repalce bulb. Worked like a charm for me!

How do i fix the amp on my radio?
When you turn the radio all the way up to max volume does the amp turn off ? you could have a short or a blowen speaker which is making the amp go into protection mode. i would disconnect all speakers then try one speaker by itself and see if you have full sound again... go through this process untill the sound stops again.

Disconnect the exhaust before the catalytic convertor and test drive 2004 to 2008 and above GMC catalytic tend to plug easy, If the catalytic is to difficult to disconnect, plus you need to secure from falling remove the 02 sensor on each bank before the catalytic, this may be a easy approach.Just to let you what effects the performace of the MAP sensor is a plug exhaust,it creates back pressure. And a IAT sensor goes 10% higher, Another problem the Envoy has is water intrusion into the spark plug recessed area creating misfire and rough idle, the water get past the COP (coil on plug),

Loud exhaust noise on startup
2008 GMC Envoy is only equipped with one of two engines:4.2L (254") 6-Cylinder SFI5.3L (325") V-8 SFINiether of these engines are equipped with an EGR valve, so I guess the probability of that being the cause of your noise is pretty much zero to none.If you believe the noise is being caused by the exhaust ststem, then the only way to verify that is to inspect the exhaust system. Leaks are easier to verify with the engine running. With that said, there is also a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) that is published by GM that addresses customer complaints about loud noise that is being caused by the electro-viscous engine cooling fan clutch. Some people describe it as exhaust noise and others describe it as the engine "racing" or "roaring".(even though the tachometer (if equipped) will be reading normal) It basicly says that it can make noise on startup due to high rpm of the fan which goes away once the electric solenoids open and allow the fan to start free-wheeling. GM says this is normal operation. You might want to check to be sure this is not what you are hearing. (it can be pretty loud)

2008 GMC Denali, Fusebox location
It would be helpful if we knew if you were talking about a 2008 Envoy or a 2008 Denali, since your post says both. In either case, the subject of fuse locations is covered in the Owner's Manual....

Its vary likely a bearing noise . Eighter the altenator power steering pump air pump or water pump . Although it could also be the belt tenisinor its a big time ware part . Thats what i would look at first .The water pump would be leaking from the bottom . The altenator would be giveing you battery problems charging . The air pump if you have one would show signs in engine porformance . The power steering pump you may not notcce a porformance issue .Its likely the belt tenisioner
