I recently replaced the clutch fan on a 2009 Envoy but the vehicle is still making the same noise as before I changed out the clutch fan - does anyone have any ideas on what else the problem could be.

Check the A/C Cluch . This is a common problem on today's Cars . If that is not it , It is most likely your Idler pulley for the Serpentine Belt , once they get some miles on them or a little dirt they start to be trouble . Hope this helps!!! Grant

Gmc keyless entry

I would start by replacing the battery in the key fob remote that goes on your keychain. You can take it to most auto part stores and they will test/replace the battery in the device. It's a fairly cheap fix. If the device still isn't working after a new battery, then you will need to replace the fob. Some auto part stores like, AutoZone, will carry some of them but some you need to go to your local GMC dealer.

Vibtrations

The gas pedal could beva drive by wire, meaning there is no physical connection between it and the engine. You did not say the year of your Envoy. If it is there may be a bad accelerator position sensor. If is not drive by wire you may have an issue with your engine. Either way have it checked by a technician that knows you make of vehicle.

What will happen if the transmission is overfilled with oil?

Transmissions that are overfull can "whip" the fluid, buy catching the fluid on the rotating parts. This is bad for a number of reasons,, It causes air to be trapped in the fluid (foam) causing a loss of the ability to transmit pressure to the apply devices, they hold the clutch packs and bands, and move pressure control valves, causing a slipping condition. this in turn causes damage to componets and a great deal of heat, also very bad for the transmission.

To set the temperature in Fahrenheit or Celsius

On the 2006 model, if you have the steering wheel with the on wheel buttons, keep pressing the i button on the bottom right until you reach Display Units: If it says Metric, press the carriage return button to switch it to English and there is the solution.

Oil pressure gauge flickers all over then goes to zero shut engine light comes on oil has 1000 miles on it 5w30 control cold or warm may return to normal 60/70 then 0

Problem could be a bad oil pressure sensor or the oil pump is failing. A mechanical oil pressure gauge needs to be hooked up to verify actual oil pressure. Problem could also be a bad stepper motor in the instrument cluster that drives the gauge.

If mileage is over 100K and plugs have not been changed, it is time. Could also be a bad coil pack or vacuum leak at intake manifold.

Daytime running lights not working

Can you see the smoke colored sensor near the windshield? I've had one break and fall down which caused this exact problem. If you can see it, pull the plastic trim piece off, make sure the connections are actually connected, have seen these come unhooked.
