1977 dodge warlock will not charge. how do i check
Do you have an alternator with 2 field connections and one power output connection and a separate regulator?
If you do,with the engine running, remove the connection from the regulator and jump across the 2 connections in the wire harness, this will give you full field and the alt should show a charge, use a voltmeter on the battery and watch for an increase in voltage. If voltage increases, the regulator is bad or the reg ground is bad.(try cleaning the mounting bolt areas before replacing it)If no increase in voltage, remove the 2 field connections from the alt and ground one and apply battery voltage to the other with the engine running. You should see an increase in voltage if the alt is good.I am assuming you have battery voltage at the alt power output connection at all times?
So my buddy pulled the shifter off of my 1983 dodge ram 150
Manual transmission........ Set the emergency brake, or block the wheels. Now, using a large screw driver and a flashlight, look down into the shifter cover. You will need to line up the shifter so that it looks like a left-to-right long rectangle (each gear has a slider that moves front-to-rear). Once you have done that, you cannot fail getting the shifter into the correct place.

CODE PO871
First thing tomorrow, take it back to the shop that rebuilt it!!
I have a 2000 dodge durango v8 which i just
code p 1491 is a radiator fan control relay circuit
the engine going to full rpm and not going anywhere is a transmission control problem
could be torque converter clutch servo / solenoid , dirty oil , low oil , low oil pump pressure , TR sensor or TCM
you got ti cheap so you can expect problems
best advice is to take it to an accredited specialist automatic transmission professional for a proper diagnosis and quote
any where else will get you a new transmission response with out properly explaining the problems
That fact that it is driving and got you home indicates that it is not a terminal problem , just electronic controls and sensors

While under your vehicle, sometimes on the top or your rear end, there is an opening that allows air to enter and exit when pressure builds up. Other models have a hose that connects to some part of the rear end, just follow this hose to its end and make sure its not clogged or pinched.

CHANG HOLE FIRING SYSTEM SILL NO FIRE HOW TO FIX
Did you check primary voltage at the coil, I believe it is a pink wire. It goes hot, either key on or engine cranking. With some older vehicles, they used a resister block, during cranking, it bypasses the resister and the coil gets full battery voltage, with engine running it goes through resister trying to make it easier on the ignition system. I'ts been a long time since I worked on this model year. Did you check voltage and ground, anywhere? Replacing parts may not fix it, if problem with wiring circuit, somewhere?
