Apr 16, 2019 - P0411 is a general OBDII trouble code, which means that it has the same meaning for the Chevy Cobalt as it would any other car or truck.
The P0974 code is generic powertrain code related to the transmission, including pressure faults and sensor failures
. In this case, the engine control module (ECM) has detected a fault with a high voltage reading from the shift solenoid A control circuit.

What is a P0700 Code? The P0700 code indicates that there's a malfunction with your vehicle's Transmission Control Module (TCM)

Why doesn't A/C compressor work?
If there is an issue with the pressure in the system, the ECU will not allow the compressor to run.
Check the coolant high and low pressure point pressures are within specification.
2007 2.2l. Why is it stuck in Drive?
Sounds like electrical problem. Is the electrical connector properly connected to the valve body on the transmission ?
Maybe a solenoid was accidently unplugged when you had the cover off.
2006 LS. Where is harness to connect camshaft position sensor?
You really need to invest in manuals for these vehicles you're working on. I don't think this engine has a camshaft position sensor, regardless of the diagram you posted. Does the engine run? Is there a connector there to rewire? Is there a port/opening to insert a camshaft position sensor into? General Motors used the 2.2L and 2.4L ecotec engines in several models from 2002 to 2006 (or later) that had no camshaft position sensors.
2006 chevy cobalt ls I have individual coils on s engine I swapped but my harness has a set up for a coil pack doing have to change engines?
You don't really need to swap the engine out. The coil pack is simply the electronics that controls when the spark plug fires. You could change the wiring set up to use a multi coil pack system but this could be very complicated and very expensive as you might need a specialist to do it for you.
You are probably better off converting the new engine to run on a single coil pack system. If you have swapped the old engine for another engine that is the SAME you might be able to transfer the parts off the old engine onto the newer one.
You would be safest asking a good mechanic near you if this is possible.
