Check fuel lines and the spark plug wires for cracks or rips. The plugs may have been damaged when you hit the tree. Check fuel pump connections for loose or broken connections. Sounds like no fuel to the plugs to keep it going. If you hit the tank, check the fuel pump operation was not damaged.

My artic cat will turn over but wont start, it was low on gas before i filled it up, thats when the problem started.

could be air in the fuel line, there should be a hand primer in the engine bay. on the fuel line or on the intake.

I have a 1993 Artic cat jag 440 that wont stay running after it warns up. What could be the problem?

Check the insulation under the gas tank. Sometimes if this is worn or falls off, the heat from the engine heats up the fuel which causes the fuel pump to act erratic, even stop working. Also make sure you have the correct heat level spark plug installed. If it's at the wrong heat spectrum, it will stop functioning and shut down.

Will not stay running how to find problem for a artic cat atv 4 wheel drive

Have you checked to see if the fuel line is plugged? It sounds like something is stopping the fuel flow to the carb.

Hi I am trying to pull start my 2009 artic cat snopro1000, I put it away running fine. I have spark to the plugs?

Are the plugs wet with gas after you prime the engine and try turning it over a few times? You may not be getting gas to the cylinders if you left gas in the fuel system when you put it away and it has evaporated and left behind gunk that causes the carburetor to stick or the injectors to clog. (I always use Sta-bil or a similar gas storage treatment when putting up a wet engine). Get two bottles of carburetor/injector cleaner. Put one in the gas tank to mix with the gas there. If you have access to the carburetor, pour part of the bottle of cleaner into the carburetor and work the throttle and choke back and forth a few times with the cleaner in place. Gently try moving the choke plate or float to see if they are sticking. Replace the carburetor housing and try cranking the engine several times. Otherwise, you probably need to have a mechanic look at it.

Has this ATV been sitting for a while? actually sounds like a fuel delivery system issue. make sure you have gas freely flowing to the carb.. then have a professional clean and set the carb. You are actually waiting in the carb to fill with gas during this time... the needle and seat need cleaning or replacing

Artic cat atv

What else are you expecting to come on with one click of the key? The only thing I can think that maybe would come on would be a light for the gear you're in or possibly the brake light?
