Most hospitals change their batteries at least once a year. Also, if you use the battery more than AC power, you will loose the life of the battery faster.

If the charging board is bad then your battery will most likely never charge. I doubt you have a bad board.

The battery is weak. Disconnect the AC, battery,& then replace the memory battery. Reconnect the power battery & AC. Next is a pain in the rear, reprogram the unit; date, ID, setup, ect.

Is the paper correct for the machine (look at old ECG's & check paper sensor black mark is in same place) also check paper is not in wrong way round or upside down?

go to the system menu and put in the password which is usually OVEREAD or SYSTEM. After that you can go to the misc. setup and then date and time. If the password does not work you will have to restart it and I can send directions on that if necessary.

the bottom off the print roller might be misaligned or worn. it could also be part of the print head is out. put electrical tape on the part that is not printing correctly and see if that improves the printing. If it does, it is the print roller. If it does not, it is the print head. Please let me know if you need any other assistance.

The heat on the print head can fade over time giving you a poor print. also the feed roller can wear and give poor pressure to the print head. thw way to diagnose it is to put a peice of electrical tape on the print roller and print an ekg. if it prints well in the area where the tape was, it is the print roller. if there is no change it is the print head.
