My son is studying last year Bio Medical
I'm sure he has took standard repair procedures of eliminating "OPERATOR ERROR'. Now to get technical. In a hospital setting the fastest repair to a medical device is the 'Board Walk'. Use a working unit and CAREFULLY ( power unit down, GND yourself to both units, disconnect AC power, ect.) swap modules between units to isolate malfunction. In the old days we would check for possible bad component on the module. This can apply to the mechanic modules as well. I advise to look into Mgrs. for jobs.

Does it keep losing the date when you turn it off? or are you asking how to set the time and date?
If you're losing time and date when you turn the unit off, there's a coin cell battery on the main processor board that needs replacing.
If you just want to set the time and date - Press "SHIFT" and 12 lead keys at the same time. select "7" for date and time, use the return key to select date or time

How can I print out a stored ECG on the MAC 1200?
- Go to the storage program by pressing "Shift" + "Store/retrieve" simultaneously.
- using the down arrow, move the cursor to the space where your ECG's are listed and underline the ECG you wish to re-print.
- Once the ECG is underlined, press "Shift" + "down arrow" simultaneously. Two little cursors will state that the ECG is selected.
- Press "Enter". The cursor will come back on top of the screen, on "Print".
- Press "Enter" again. The machine will start to print.
I hope this helps !

How do I calibrate a MAC 1200 EKG machine?
First thing is first.
Hook your ekg machine up to simulator. Run an ekg using the simulator as a patient's heart. If you get a clean 12 lead printout with the interpretation reading "normal sinus rhythm" then I doubt that you need a calibration. If you get something else, I will need to know what it is that you got. there is no true "calibration." If there are issues, they are addressed. Otherwise, you are good to go. Keep me posted, Discount Cardiology
