The Contect site does not offer document downloads for this machine but there is a contact page. The company headquarters is in Japan with subsidiaries in China and India (manufacturing, I suspect).

they really have no choice as a baby comes when it is ready not when the hospital is. usually there are beds sometimes in a closed ward that have not been used do to staff cuts or lack of patients for that particular field like elective surgery, ( these are surgeries someone wants to have but is not life threatening, knee replacement, bunions etc) they can be put off if hospital is overflowing with new moms and babies. Also mothers stay in such a short time anymore some are only there for a few hours or overnight.
