There are a couple of things that you should include in your washer repair question so you receive the quickest and most accurate answers.


1. Model Number

The model number can be located on the model/serial number tag that is located on the washer.

Make sure you get the full model number from this tag and not the model number from the owners manual.

The model number from the owners manual only includes the first few digits of the full model number because they include that owners manual with many similar models of washers.

With the full model number I'm able to look up factory service manuals, tech sheets, wiring diagrams, factory service pointers and so much more.


2. Detailed description of the problem

At the very least give a brief description of the problem you are having with your washer.

Descriptions like 'My washer don't work' is not very helpful.

Describe what is not working. For example is the washer not filling with water? Maybe the washer is full of water but it will not pump the water out?

The more details you can give the better. Instead of saying 'The washer will not pump the water out' you could go into more detail and say something like...

"My washer filled up with water and started agitating. When I went to take the laundry out of the washer the timer had advance to the end of the cycle, but the washer was still full of water. I advance the timer around to the drain cycle again to try and drain the water out of the washer, but all the washer does is make a humming sound."
