You can now put your new horizontal transistor. But when you test the unit you should check the heat sink if the heat is normal but turn it off when touching the heat sink of the H-OUT. Sorry for the late reply, you can now test it with the crt but only for a seconds then try to feel the heat sink of the H-OUT if producing to much heat. Let me know what is your observation thank's. Can you check the voltage while the tv is plug in the ac outlet. we should do some voltage checking. Let me know if you can, because it is dangerous if you are not familiar with the test point. There is a problem with str regulator it has a over voltage protection, or check your B+ if normal. When you replace the H-OUT did you replace the str regulator.
