I have a nextel i776 phone but when i recieve or make calls i cannot hear it ring or talk to the other person unless i put it on speaker

Replace the flip assembly, the ear receiver is dead and thats why you cant hear, replace the flip and you'll be fine, its not expensive and this is a common issue with motorola flip phones.

did your phone just start doing it? because mine started doing it about 930 tonite. but was working fine early in the day.

Yep, the 1776 is a boost phone...you can NOT put a nextel sim in a boost, but putting a boost sim in a nextel works fine.

In this case check the volume of you're Handheld, If it is low, Increase the volume and check still if it is not working you need to walk into the service center to check the speaker of you're Handheld.

There is a defect with the i776 phone. I called 611 on phone using speaker and that is what they told me. Your phone has a year warrenty and motorola has to replace it call motorola at 1-800-453-0920 or they can fix it

I have the solution!!! I personally know better than to buy a Motorola!! I had a RAZR V3 that is NOTHING compared to my Samsung T629!!! The solution is:NEVER BUY MOTOROLA!!!! I would definately recommend LG and Samsung! Koreans know how to please consumers!!!! Though I recently found out that Nokia is from New Zealand from watching Transformers.LOL I believe that MOTO focuses on the LOOK. I mean you have to admit that they do have pretty nice phones!!! SO PLEASE NEVER BUY MOTOROLA AGAIN!!!!

I can't hear people that call me unless I put them on speaker phone. Called Motorola and they had me reset the phone but that did nothing. Any other suggestions?

dear replace the speaker of ur phone in k300 the speaker and ringer are the same if u not have new speaker then short both point of the speaker to gather will be ok.
