is your hard-drive the boot-drive, if not, change boot order by pressing F8 or F12 just after hitting the start button, and choose the hard-drive that has the C:\windows on it.

With f8 or f9 you will get into the bootmenu it can also be esc f2 or f12, when in the bootmenu sellect dvd player then it will start from dvd it will give a line, do you want to start from dvd hit any key.

Unistalled the USB Generic Root Hub Drivers from the Device Manager by right clicking on the generic root hubs and then restart the notebook and This will fix this issue for you....:)
If you are facing this issue while installing Windows, Most probably there is an issue with the memory card. If you have two memory modules try to use one of the memory modules in each slot at a time. If you have only one memory stick then try to use it one by one on each slot. If you it does not work then probably you might have to replace the memory stick.
