My nokia model is 5200..i want to send some picture on my gf using gprs or mms..yet every time i try .. its not working..i dont know how to fix my configuration setting please help me.. -jay

Yes sir,to retrieve MMS data,you should activate you MMS/GPRS by configuring the settings of your network provider or Smart provider.

Here's how to Activate the your MMS/GPRS

Key in SET MMS and send to 211.

To download SMART GPRS phone settings:

Key in SET GPRS and send to 211.

Example: If you have a Nokia 6230, that's "SET MMS N6230"

To activate SMART GPRS:

Key in "GPRS ON" and send to "333′

To activate SMART MMS:

Key in "MMS ON" and send to "333′

Note :
The configuration settings will be sent to your phone. You will need to select "Save All" to save the settings in the phone. Some MMS and GPRS handsets already have pre-loaded phone settings.

Activation of MMS and GPRS will require a confirmation message from SMART. A message will be sent to the sub once the feature has been activated.

You must work together with your service provider to make your phone enabling use MMS and GPRS. So please contact your service provider to make setting on your phone. It will required, username, password, proxy etc. To send MMS, just find the file you want to send then go to option then send. It is easy.

Please call customer care of the service prover line you are using and request for the manual settings of MMS and GPRS or request to send the same settings in your phone and save it. Please note that tell your phone model no to the CC executive before save the settings. Now you will be able to send the MMS.

• To get your phone’s settings, text GO (handset model) to 2951. Example, GO N3650. 3. Create New Account. GPRS/PS Data

APN: real.globe.com.ph
4. Save Account
5. Go to Streaming Settings
6. Make MyGlobe Stream your default APN.
Connect Using: MyGlobe Stream

get the mms settings first which is provided seprately by bsnl network, call customer care to know the procedure to get settings

i dont konow how to open my gprs

YakYak, Go onto your network providers website register on there, and there should be a option once you have signed up, confirmed your email address etc... You should Be able to set it up for MMS & GPRS, hope this works and good luck.
