I have lost the manual to this appliance and since I don't use it often I cannot remember which setting indicates the highest heat. Is it I or II?

One is the warm setting which is around 70 degrees, to the 2 which is the actual cook setting at between 350-400 degrees

Used cooker once tried it again and will not heat up tried on all different settings and still will not heat up at all. All the the lighrs work just will not heat up.

There is a thermal cutoff inside all appliances that make heat. Locate it and replace. You can purchase an after market part like that from any electronics supply.

I have a stay or go cockpot. Do you leave the latches locked when you cook? Lost my manual.

No that is not necessary they are mearly for travel purposes or if you don't want someone to steal a bite! If you tighten them down too much there could be a buildup of steam which can burn when you open the lid!

I bought a used little crock pot with no manual. It has only "on" and "off" settings. What temperature would that be?

When it's plugged in, it's "on". All Rival crockpots heat up to simmer, which is about 209 degrees, and then stay there. So whether it's "Low" or High" or somewhere in between, it will heat to the 209. I got this information from the Rival web site when I was researching for information on my 1 qt. and 2 qt. crockpots that I have no manuals for. There's a manual for the 1.5 quart online but after I printed it off, I lost the URL. Go to www.crockpot.com -- maybe that will get to the manual, or at the least, it should give you a Customer Service phone number to call to request one, or directions where to find it online.

Ronson slow cooker settings

Hi. I'm a Ronson Service Centre in Australia.

I grabbled this blurb from a Ronson Slow Cooker Manual.

On Setting 1 (Low) the Slow Cooker can operate all day and night if required.
When set to 2 (High) it is very much like a covered pot on the stove. Foods will cook in ½ the time required for 1 (Low)
When set to Auto, the Slow Cooker will cook on 2 until the food reaches a pre-set temperature, then switches to 1 and maintains a constant slow cooking temperature.
“Auto” is the ideal setting for someone leaving the house for the whole day as most food will cook for 8-9 hours and be ready to serve when they return.

Have a presidents choice slow cooker and its not heating up cant find the instructions. I seem to remember that when setting the time the : needs to be flashing or set to make it start cooking. model PC550...

Check with the manufacturer. Presiden't choice may have a manual listed on facebook.com or it may be archived. If archived, ask the Tech people to either snail mail or email a copy of the manual.
