Clicking sound is the contactor engaging to start the outside unit. Check for a burnt off wire at the contactor. For some reason you are not getting power to the outside unit. If you find a burnt off wire shut off all power to it then remake the connection at the point of the circuit break.

Do you have the system on A/C and it's calling for it to come on? If so, go to your breaker box and see if the unit is getting power. Also, you will need to check if the unit is being told to come on by the tstat. If you don't know how to check voltages then leave it to a professional but you first check should at least be the breaker. There is also another devise on the wall outside near the unit called a disconnect and it might have a breaker in it as well. Not all disconnects are the breaker type and not all units have them. Hope this helps.

When ever you hear a buzzing like you are hearing means one thing one of the fuses on the outside disconnect box is bad. Only getting 1/2 the power. Find the bad fuse and get the same size and will be good to go. ken
SOURCE: No cold air
Had the same problem. Is it an automatic thermostat? If so, it is the module that opens the air door. It is just inside the glove box. If you look it is probably turning. It is a tight fit, but not hard to fix.
SOURCE: air conditioner not blowing cold air
Just because the big one is cold and the small one is warm,Doesn't tell you if the system is properly charged or properly working. It is true that the big line will be cold and have condensation on it and the small one will be hot and dry,But this occurs in a wide pressure range,so the system could still be improperly charged. The charge in the system is based on the ambient temperature,The size of the system,The line footage,Etc............ So without a set of gauges and the ambient temperature,You can't really check anything but whether or not the unit comes on.
