After dialing a number I do not know how to make a call

If you have set up your numbers with speed dial, make sure the speed dial option is set "ON". When you are ready to make a call, press and HOLD the speed dial number you are calling. I had the same problem and found the solution on another online forum.

its easy to know your mobile number your number comes with the simpack given to you by your service provider and if you cant get that just dial a num from your phone or dial your other number from the samsong phone then the number automatically shows on the other line you dial with the samsung phone

If you know the combination:

1) Turn the dial to the left a few complete rounds, then stop on 1st number.
2) Turning the dial to the right, pass up the 2nd number once, then stop on it on the next round.
3) Turn the dial to the left directly to the 3rd number then stop.

The handle should open now.

to programme speed dial just go to contact on your phone menu and select the conatct you want to speed dial and assign speed dialing number for the person or you type any number on your phone and press the harsh key like this (10#) and it will bring out the number assign to that spedd dial

quick dial numbers cannot be deleted.you just have to make sure you print first the auto dial list for you to know where it is located.go to that location,enter zeros and then menu/set to save the number as a zero

Press PROG press a speed dial button (ie 13-24) dial 9 plus the number press STORE

Pause seems to work ONLY in saved speed-dial numbers.
BUT...
One work-around to dial any number you want with a pause is
to save the number you want to dial as a speed dial number.
When you enter a speed dial number to save to memory, hitting the "*" button repeatedly cycles through the symbols, one of which is the dash. The dash symbol will be dialed as a 2 second pause when you use that saved speed dial.

Yes, it is pretty stupid that you cannot use this same method (hitting * key to cycle through) to insert a pause in a manually dialed number.

while pressing a number in dialing dont press it continuosly for more than 3 to 4 seconds otherwise it takes number as turbo dialing number.
In setup(in the dialing menu where numbers are displayed) there is facility of turbo dialing i.e. speed up dialing such that you provide phone numbers numbers between 1 to 9 for example in 1st number you provide number of your dad then when you press 1 continuously then your dad's number gets called. So, as you have not set your turbo dialing this message has appeared.
