1- Check your wi-fi router model.
2- Check your wi-fi settings.
also please check how many devices are connected to your wi-fi at same time. because some routers can only support upto 5 device. you can check this in the settings and also routers manual.
1. Tap the "Menu" button from the home screen of your Samsung Star phone.
2. Tap "Wi-Fi" and select the "ON" option.
3. Select the Wi-Fi router you want to connect to from the list available Wi-Fi networks.
4. Enter the case-sensitive password to connect to a secured network. Your phone will only prompt you to enter a password if connecting to a secured network.
5. Wait while your phone automatically connects to the Wi-Fi router. and enjoy your wi-fi connection.
How to configure manually Samsung GT-S3353 Chat GPRS, MMS, Wi-Fi and browser settings
On your phone 'Menu' go to 'Settings'
Select 'Network'
On Network, select 'Connections'
You will be prompted by 'The menu manages connection profile. Incorrect configuration will prevent online connection.' message, just click 'Yes' to Continue.
On 'Connections' you can see all the list of Access points including Wi-Fi hotspots you connected.
Example: myGlobe Connect, myGlobe MMS, myGlobe Inet, Smart Internet, Sun GPRS, Smart MMS and FreePublic Wifi etc.
You can select which access point you want to edit manually, just point and click 'Options' then 'Edit'
If you want to create new access point for your network you can do it manually with your Samsung GT-S3353 Chat, just click 'Options' then select 'Create'

Unfortunately, your phone wasn't manufactured with WLAN (Wi-Fi). As such, you cannot use a local wireless network to access the Internet with your phone. And, Wi-Fi cannot be added as an application.
Do the following. 1. Click on the wi-fi icon in the menu [mostly in middle screen if you havent customised the menu items]. 2. On the next screen it wud say 'Tap here to turn Wi-Fi on' and there wud be round button saying Wi-Fi. 3. Tap on that to switch on wifi. 4. Now on the bottom menu bar Click on Search 5. It will show u a list of wifi network available. 6. Click on the one u want to connect to [A menu pops up] 7. Click on Add in the menu 8. In the form enter the network key [password u need to connect to ur wifi] 9. Depending on ur other settings of you Wi-fi router, you may need to enter some details in the form 10. Once done, click Save 11. Now u r ready to connect. 12. Click on the network u want to connect to and click on connect.
