I have a Sandisk Cruzer 8GB pendrive. I was copying files halfway until a message pops out telling me that my drive is not there. i ejected and reinserted the pendrive, but I couldn't delete any files...

Right click my computer and click on manage. In disk management try to reformat as another solution for your usb storage drive. Try another usb port on your computer as well when you reinsert it and restart the computer. Usually when a usb device turns off and doesn't show up like yours did the device could be faulty or the usb port you have it connected to or for laptops sometimes the usb ports turn off if only using battery instead of ac adapter. There are power save modes for usb ports so have to check that in device manager as well. Good luck!

I have a 8gb Cruzer Flash drive, when i conect it on my pc, the orange light apprears but the comptuer doesn't recognize it. i went to the computer device manager but no new drive neigther plugged in...

I have 4 just like it and I've never had this kind of problem (Windows XP SP3). Have you checked the USB port(s) in Device Manager to insure there's not a problem there? Try rebooting the computer with the drive plugged in. You can recover the data on it using a program like BadCopy Pro (or similiar) providing you don't do anything to overwrite or erase the files on it first.

USB device not recognized

Try another computer to see if it is the USB stick or your computer. Many times people will fry their USB sticks by not removing them properly. To remove, look for the USB logo on bottom right of your screen and right click, left click remove device.
Otherwise the computer may be writing to the USB stick and there is voltage still supplied to it.

To start with My 'Sandisk Cruzer micro 8gb' USB flashdrive has failed. Nothing has happened to it, like getting wet or anything, but when I plug it into the computer the orange light (the light that it...

well the flash might be corrupted if u have pluged it recently on some mp3 player like those in the care that work on the radio signal, the electricity circulation in those mashines can broke ur flash drive.
if u want to make sure it is broken, u should go to administrative tools, and choose device managment, then disk managmen, if its note there, then its a 90% broken flash drive.

Sandisk 8gb cruzer filling itself up???

see if this happens on other computers. If on other computers you have malware on the device itself. If only on one computer then the computer has a malware or configuration problem. Maybe temp files are set to go to path that the usb stick gets when it's inserted. Identify the source of the issue then solve. stick vs machine

It won't show up

Use the exact same USB port that you used to install it.
The installation uses a "virtual USB" port.
You also have to use the same user account on the computer. (Use the same USERNAME as when it was installed).

Also, check to see if the computer DOES see it:
Right-click [My Computer]
[Manage]
{Disk Management]
Find your Cruzer in the list or on the graph.
Right-click on it and [Explore]
Copy your homework to your computer desktop.

It should work ok, now.

Sandisk crezer 4GB micro wont work

Try this,
Note:I assume you are on win XP.

Right click on my  computer and click manage.
Now on left side please select Device manager and look on the right side if you have any device that says "Unknow Device" or any device that is showing an Exclaimation Mark. If any of this exists then right click on that and uninstall. After this unplug your Flash drive and restart your computer and try inserting flash drive if it works or not.
If not, again go to device manager and expand an option that says "Disc Drives". Please check if it shows anything related to your Cruzer Flash Drive. If it's there, then go to Disc Management that will be there on left side of this same window. There, you need to look for your Removable disc and right click on it and click change drive letter. Now choose a different drive letter preferable one of the last alphabets like Z. After this click OK and now try going to my computer to check if it appears or not.
Moreover, if none of these solutions work please get back to me with some more info like if you have U3  on your Cruzer that comes preinstalled on your flash drive and the version of your OS.
