I have a Traeger 100 BBQ. I can not get it to produce enough heat, it takes so long, and can not use at all if the weather is cool. I think the burner is to small for the size of it.

CAN YOU USE THE TRAEGER SMOKER TO HEAT SOMETHING WITHOUT GETTING A SMOKE FLAVOR

Yes, it is possible to use a Traeger smoker to heat something without getting a smoke flavor. One way to do this would be to use the "smoke" setting on the smoker to burn off any residual oils or flavors from previous smoking sessions, and then turn the setting to "high" or "bake" to heat the food without smoke. Another option would be to wrap the food in foil before heating it in the smoker, which can help to prevent smoke from permeating the food.
It's important to note that even if you don't use the smoke feature on the Traeger, there may be still some smoke flavor present in the food, as the wood pellets will produce some smoke when they're heated, so you may want to consider using an alternative heating source if you want to completely eliminate the smoke flavor.

Dometic RM2611, Freezes fine, Refrig OK on AC, but warms up when on LP gas. Can I safely increase the orifice size from #53 to #58? Thinking that will increase the flame and produce more heat.

Check the gas regulator and the lines for particles of dirt. You have modified the refrigerator it is going to take some work to find what is wrong. Don't modify the orifice from what it calls for.

When I start my Traeger grill it heats up and the temperature continues to climb and I'll not stop until I turn it off. Can you give me some information as to what I can do to fix this problem.

Ron, I am not real familiar with this model. If the temperature controls are not doing the trick, see if it has vent doors that can be slid open to help control heat. If it does not have vent doors, consider adding a couple to the top lid of grill. Link below how they work and install, you can also make your own quite simply.

Traeger bbq problems

This is a common problem if you're trying to cook when its cold outside. Traeger sells insulating blankets for grills that are being used at 35 degrees or less. However, it could be an augur alignment problem that's keeping the augur from dunping enough pellets in the firebox. Here's Traeger's FAQ for that problem.

Q. I've been noticing that my grill temperature keeps dropping lower. What is the problem?

A. You need to "true" your auger. To do this:

  1. Run the unit out of pellets.
  2. Remove the allen screw and nut out of the auger and motor shaft.
  3. Try spinning the auger shaft over the motor shaft. The auger shaft should spin freely over the motor shaft without binding.
  4. If the auger binds, loosen the 7/16th inch bolts on the motor bracket and move bracket until you can rotate the auger shaft over the motor shaft. Then re-tighten 7/16th inch bolts. Make sure auger shaft still rotates over motor shaft, or repeat step 4 again until it does.
  5. Reattach auger and motor shafts using the screw and nut which you removed in step 2.
You probably should contact Traeger customer service at http://www.traegergrillscom to confirm that this is your problem.

Heat doesnt work in my jeep cherokee when driving but when sitting heat works

Put a piece of cardboard in front of the radiator. Only if it's cold out though, Usually in really cold weather, the cooling affect of the cold air circulating around the radiator keeps the fluid from getting hot enough to produce heat unless your running in park.
