go into settings and dont let it sync. change the auto sync icon. it is trying to sync to the new songs. you will have to delete them when you are done listening to them.
Plug the mp3 player into your computer with the cable it came with. Use Windows Media Player to browse your music and movies and "Sync" with your mp3 player.
Unfortunately, deleting that music file is irreversible - you can try running the Repair in Philips Device Manager, but it most likely will not work. Call Philips and see if you are in warranty.

I have a philips mp3 player too, and what i do to get files off of it is go to my computer, then there should be a drive that says "philips (E:),click it, then click, music, videos or pictures. whatever you want off. then, it should show all the files, then right click the file and select delete.
go under my computer then click on removable disks then click on a folder under one of them folders (say ur under pictures) right click on a photo and go to delete u do that all the folders to delete something good luck
