I don't know how to password protect my NBG334W model. Please can you help?

If you can find the manual your parents have hidden. It may have the default password in it. Like all zeros or nines

go to biosremoval.com they can help, works for me every time.
my laptop had bios password hard drive password and windows password. which was unlocked using bios removal services from biosremoval.com

Best option is to log into the router and make a new one.

Plug the router into your computer using ethernet.

Open interent exploer and type into the address bar http://192.168.1.1
Username: admin
Password: 1234

If the particular mmc is not displaying in your phone and display other mmc it is not a password protected actually the mmc is damage.

The manual does not show a user id when the device has been factory reset. It only sets the password to 1234.

To configure the wireless router it is recommended the it is connected directly to router.
Please follow these steps to fix your issue

1. Reset the router using reset button on the back of the NBG334W router
2. Configure or change the laptop ehternet adaptor setting to "Obtain IP address automatically.
3 connect laptop and router using ethernet cable. check the ip address using ipconfig command in DOS prompt. If IP address is 0.0.0.0 or 169.X..X..X run command
ipconfig /release
ipconfig/ renew

best way restart the computer

4. if you still have issue in getting ip address double check ethernet cable and try reseting the router again.

5. Still problem persist install new firmware on the router. you can download router firmware from
