We currently have a Frigidaire BBQ, model GL30LKEC. The problem is, it won't retain the heat. The temperature gets up to 300 degrees, but half way through cooking, it drops to 200 degrees and won't get back up. The bbq itself is in great shape.

Sounds like a problem with either the regulator or the burners themselves. Is it fully fueled? Visit www.ibuygrillparts.com and speak with the techs there. They should be able to help.

How do I change temperature from Celsius to Fahrenheit on Frigidaire Gallery Refrigerator, model EPTWFU01?

EPTWFU01 is the water filter part number. It isn't the model number of the refrigerator. Please check the model number. Often the model number is on the back of the refrigerator. Not all models support changing the temperature units. If your refrigerator has a button labeled C/F. Try pressing that to toggle back to Fahrenheit. On another model, FG4H2272UF, press and hold the + and - keypads on the refrigerator side of the control panel for 5+ seconds.

One Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator is the GLHS36EJSB.
The support page is https://support.frigidaire.com/Owner-Center/Product-Support/GLHS36EJSB . The current link to the manual for this model is https://na2.electroluxmedia.com/Original/Electrolux/Electrolux%20Assets/Document/Complete%20Owners%20Guide/English/241856000en.pdf . This model doesn't allow the units to be changed. The documentation for FG4H2272UF is available here: https://support.frigidaire.com/Owner-Center/Product-Support/FG4H2272UF . See the page 15 of the manual, https://na2.electroluxmedia.com/Original/Electrolux/Electrolux%20Assets/Document/Complete%20Owners%20Guide/English/A10883135en.pdf , for the information above.

I hope this helps. Please add a comment with your refrigerator's actual model number for specific directions for toggling between degrees C and degrees F.

Why is my Frigidaire oven (model # ffgf3013lwd) overheating?

Hello Julie Clark, thank you for your post!

From what you are describing it sounds like it could be an issue within the EOC (electronic oven control) or element. I would recommend you contact a professional to come out and diagnose your appliance to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. -Matt

Pool heater won't heat water

How big a pool? You normally will not notice a temperature rise immediately. On average, swimming pools will see a one degree rise in temperature every 45 - 90 minutes.

My frigidaire gallery french door refrigerator is making ice very slowly. the water is coming out fine. It is only 4 weeks old. i got solutions from frigidaire from the valve to the water filter. Any...

Hi,
The theory to making ice is temperature, water, and ice mold to function. What are the temperatures inside the freezer currently. It must be below 15 degrees to function and prefer the freezer to be at 0 degrees to product effectively. Are you ice cubes solid or hollow? If hollow you can jam the ice inside the ice maker causing slow production. Rare to have a water valve problem this young be is possible. I would look at temperatures first than cycle time to determine the next step. In a perfect world, your unit should drop ice every hour to and hour and a half.
Good Luck

Oven doesn't get to set temperature. I turn it on 500 degrees and it only gets to about 300 degrees

You dont mention model so if its electronic control then you need to replace the thermister first and if the problem insist then the PCB Board.
If it is a mechanical the just replace the oven thermostat.

My Magic Chef gas oven thermostat is not working properly. At 400 degrees it only heats to 200 degrees and at 500 degrees it only heats to 300 degrees. Do I need to replace it or can I calibrate it?

ther is a temp sensor that goes from the control valve to the oven, this may be the problem, make sure sensor probe is tight where it screws into the gas valve and other end is not just hanging in the oven, it attaches to the top of oven,if it's where it's supose to be, I'd change that first

Tappan Oven #MEF500PBWD heating unevenly

Perhaps the item you are using to check temperatures is not accurate. I my line of work, I use a digital thermometer which records immediate temperature. Perhaps understanding the process will help you see more accuracy in the way you read the temperature in your oven. Allow me to offer this explanation....First of all, place your thermometer near on the top rack as close to the oven temperature probe as possible. This probe is the focal point for your oven and detects the temperature and opens the electrical circuit to turn off the element when the desired set temperature is attained. Set your electric oven to 300 degrees and hopefully, you have a window in your oven to watch. The bake element will come on and the temperature will rise until it reaches 300 degrees. It is at this point when your oven bake indicator light should go out. When this happens....look inside. The element is still bright orange and emitting heat and will continue to raise the temperature in the oven to approximately 325 - 340 degrees. With this noted, you will see the temperature beginning to drop 315, 310, 300, 295, 290, 285 perhaps even 280 or some even lower to 275 and then the indicator lamp will go on indicating the circuit has closed thus turning on the element, Finally there is a variance and no range GAS or ELECTRIC will ever maintain a even 300 degree temperature. The calibration set point is based on the 300 degrees. If your oven light goes off within 20-25 degrees of three hundred degrees, your oven is already calibrated pretty close and I would not attempt to adjust it at all.

My oven won't come up to full temp - but broiler/clock work fine.

you either need a temperature probe or a board if the element is heating. If you have an electric meter ohm out the temperature probe. it should be a long skinny piece of metal coming out of the top left or top right corner of the oven cavity. if you ohm it it should read about 1250 ohms.. on your meter that would be the horseshoe looking thing. if it ohms out correctly then it may be your board.
