My friend had this problem. First-of-all, check with your provider that 3G is included with your price plan/contract. Then the only thing you CAN do, is restore your phone. My friend had to do this numerous times to retain his 3G. Hopefully you'll have better luck. Simples :)
What you need to do is reinstal the iPhone OS (operating system) to do so hold down the home button and the power button for about 20 - 30 sec untill connect to itunes logo shows up. Then open itunes and click restore. when the installation is done the iphone should boot back up.
Hi, iPhone 3G's are currently unlockable without a SIM card. (Which are illegal in Canada). The only other 3G provider in Canada that you would be able to use the phone with would be Rogers but they share the same network and have nearly identical plans. There has been progress in efforts towards unlocking the iPhone but the time line is somewhere near November.
We have a small office with l0 lines. We cannot receive calls from outside of our exachange nor can calls come in from outside of our exchange. Our voice mail will not click in from calls from within our exchange, either.
Can you help? Mr. Bartug
You have to talk with your IT guy, or whoever sets up your email accounts. They need to change your mobile preferences to allow your email to be used on a mobile device.
Also, they can give you the correct settings for the incoming and outgoing server mailboxes (almost impossible to find on your own).
Outlook on the exchange server is compatible with iPhones through IMAP.
