Anyone know where I can get an instruction manual for Braun Independent heating hair tongs?

I don't know about this specific model of Braun shaver (I have a Braun Model 7526).

I have looked at the instructions for a couple of models of Braun Shaver, and the instructions are similar so it may help you to replace the batteries in yours.

Here is one of the instructions:

Open the shaver:
1) Use a small flat screw driver pry off the bottom (where the cord plugs in)
2) Remove the silver sides
3) Using a small torq driver remove the 4 screws
4) Open shaver
5) Remove circuit board with batteries
6) Remove and replace circuit board with batteries (or solder in the new batteries)

A hair iron (or hair tong) is a type of hair tool that uses heat to change the structure of the hair ie to straighten it or crimp it. They do get very hot but it's not as scary as it sounds.

My suggestion would be , to use a hair dryer , aimed at the center of the prongs , so the heat will transfer to the motor armature . Do this , while ocassionally depressing the ice dispensor arm , until the prongs start to rotate . I would also suggest , turning down the freezer temp slightly , and using more often . Even if you do not use the ice very often , the dispensor motor HAS to be actuated more often , to keep it from freezing up .

The top of the gas hair drier is simply screwed off (under the green button), ant-clockwise. The battery is a camera battery a Varta 625U. The battery must placed with the positive + side upwards and screw back on the top.
