I have a Mintek TV mod. DTV-203 w/remote mod.RC-800B. The remote does not work. It was repaired, but only lasted about a month. How can I get a new remote?. The local TV repair & seller of the TV no longer carry this brand.

Use toshiba code 0156 that should turn on the mintek tv on

As far as I know, no regular universal remote will work with the mintek TV/DVD's.
I have heard that the "Kameleon" remote, from radioshack works with them.
I had the same problem, so I ordered a replacement original remote from ebay for $20. It was the RC-600 for mine (DTV-265 26" LCD/DVD)
