This issue means your software on your device is corrupt. It will need to be reloaded from a PC. This is very possible tho, unfortunately it sounds like the data on the phone is probably gone.
Reference the video I have linked to below for a walkthru on how to do this.
Try to leave the battery out for an hour or two. Then try again. If it still doesn't work, it might be the lcd screen is damaged or its the software problem.
Either your LCD is bad or the connection to your LCD has been compromised. Without taking it apart it would be hard to tell. if you remove the housing and unplug the screen look at the connections and the ribbon cable to see if anything looks damaged. If not then it could be the screen it self? Make suyre the buttons still light up because if they dont maybe you just have a power supply issue to the phone.
Your Blackberry probably just needs a firmware restore. Here's a guide on how to restore the blackberry firmware, the website is at : Restore Blackberry
to factory settings.Download the Blackberry Desktop manager and run the
application loader. Make sure you check to delete old applications in
advanced tab to delete whatever program keeps it from booting properly.
Does the screen go black after the Time Clock comes on? When I plug in my storm, the time clock comes on.
If in the time clock, you should be able to press the Blackberry Menu button, and choose close to close out of the Clock. If you are in Bedside mode, you will be asked if you wish to exit.
