Try turning the guitar on and off. If that doesn't work, chances are the button is jammed. You can try clearing it out with some dust-off from a nearby store, or by wiping it down with a damp paper towel. If you wipe it down, make surer the paper towel is not dripping, as that can damage the system. Hope this helps!

Are you pressing the sync buttons on the component and then pressing the sync button on the console? It is under the large door on the front of the console.First press the guitar sync, then it should give you a couple of seconds to press the console sync.If the light goes to constant blue,it is synched.Do the same for the other component.Good luck and rock on!

Guitar not working properly

Check the D-pad on the guitar. Sometimes it can get stuck slightly and can count for accidental strumming. Also be sure to keep the button pressed firmly when playing chords. It is very sensitive to touch.

When playing guitar hero and pressing the corresponding color button, no sound is being made?

Play the tutorial before playing the game. It'll tell you how to play the game. If there is still no sound, it is possible that the strum bar on the guitar is broken, and you will need to have it replaced. You can use the D-pad on the guitar as an alternative to the strum bar, just to see if the guitar works.

Can't get access to all songs of the game

faljose,
You could get all the songs by just just playing the career unlocking them one by one or you could go to the Main menu and choose 'Options' then choose 'cheats' then choose 'Enter cheat' then with the guitar press the colored buttons in this order :
blue, blue, red, green, green, blue, blue, yellow.
when done a message will appear telling you that you unlocked up all songs in Quick Play. Now that you did so you'll have noticed the 'same as before' emtpy slots for cheats. You actually have to scroll down the list of the emtpy cheats until you find 'Unlock all Quick Play Song' and if will say "Off" under it, simply select that to be 'On' and just head back to the main menu and go play Quick Play with every single song in the game. Now you can Rock.

Rock band guitar will not sync to wii

For me it was the white box that connects to the back of the wii. I tried everything from changing batteries in the guitar, to pressing white button on guitar, to restarting while holding white button down to screaming at the wii. Then I bought a new rockband guitar at best buy and the new guitar did not work until I swapped the white box (dongle?) that connects to the back of the Wii. One is for the drums and the other is for the guitars and mic. Hope this helps.

Rock Band guitar for xbox 360 stopped working

On the face of your 360 is a little round button that tells the system to search for wireless controllers. Push it at the same time you push the connect button on your guitar or drums. I figured this out after returning two other systems to Wal-Mart.... They really should put this info in the instructions somewhere! Tell me if it works for you guys too.
