Renewing the cutting deck on a lr 135

To renew the cutting deck on an LR 135 (assuming it refers to a specific model), you can follow these general steps:
  1. Safety first: Ensure the lawnmower is turned off, and disconnect the spark plug wire to prevent accidental starting.
  2. Remove the old cutting deck: Depending on the specific design of your lawnmower, you may need to remove any side panels, belts, or other components that connect the cutting deck to the mower. Follow the instructions provided in the lawnmower's manual or consult the manufacturer for guidance on removing the cutting deck.
  3. Prepare the new cutting deck: Ensure you have the correct replacement cutting deck for your LR 135 model. Compare it to the old deck to ensure they are the same size and have the necessary mounting points.
  4. Install the new cutting deck: Align the new cutting deck with the mounting points on the lawnmower. Carefully reattach any belts, side panels, or other components that were removed in the previous step. Make sure the deck is securely attached and properly aligned.
  5. Reconnect the spark plug wire: Once the new cutting deck is installed, reconnect the spark plug wire to the spark plug.
  6. Test and adjust: Before using the lawnmower, it's important to test the new cutting deck and make any necessary adjustments. Start the lawnmower and listen for any unusual noises or vibrations. Ensure the cutting height is set correctly and that the blades are properly aligned.

I replaced the deck belt on my yard machine riding mower that it calls for but it's too long and there doesn't seem to be an adjustment, what can I do?

First I would double check that its routed correctly. If you still have the old belt, compare it to the size of the new one.

Drive belt slips on Husqvarna YTH21K46 riding lawnmower, installed new drive belt and it slips. mower is 2 years old

I had this same issue. New belts and correct routing did not solve the problem. The issue with my mower was the tabs that come off the frame that you bolt the transaxle (the drive for the rear wheels and axle) had almost completely torn/cracked away. This allowed the transaxle to tilt forward under a load and slip the belt off the rear drive pulley. You see no mention of this at the dealer or company sights. The tabs are so thin this is going to happen, in my opinion, in time. I reinforced this area with 1/4 inch angle iron and have had no further belt issue.

Belt comes off. idler pulley bracket doesn't seem to have enough tension on it. Bracket spring is still on. Maybe wrong spring? Just bought new belt and it went on way easier than old belt . is...

the new belt should be a hair smaller than the older one thus being tighter to put on, either the new belt is the wrong size or you don,t have the tensioner spring tight enouph, did you have to take it off at some point and just not get it back in the right hole
also make sure your routing the belt the right way around the pullies,if all that is good ten check the length on the belt
sounds like its just a matter of correct routing

Need to obtain a new belt and pull rope for my Tiller

you can get a pull rope at wal-mart.measure the belt and any parts store or place that sells lawnmower belts should have one.if the rope broke close to the end knot just pull the end knot with some needle nose pliers.once you have all the old rope out lay the old rope pieces on the ground and cut the new rope to match it as far as length.turn the pulley that the pull rope goes in six turns counerclockwise.then turn the slot the knot was in to the hole the pullrope goes thru and fish it thru then pull it up and out with apaiar of needlnose have someone hold the pulley until you tie a small knot in the end of the pullrope the hold the pullrope and let it pull it in.you might have to cut some off at the handle if its still too long.to do this pull some rope out and tie a quick knot so the rope can't slip back if you let it go.

Need to install a new belt as the old one broke upon starting

The belt routing decal should be attached to underneath the hood or engine cover, it will show you how the belt is routed on the van. If it is the alternator belt that broke, just remove the bolt holding the altenator up on its bracket and then remove the old belt off the pully.
