The defaulkt security code for Nokia is 12345. You can reset the security code using : *#7328748263373738#. It works on most nokia phones. Worth giving a try.
And if the phone says simcard rejected, then the most common problem is that the phone probably might have been locked. You can get it unlocked for 5 quids in your local market.
The Mastercode 2402447024 is correct for IMEI 356437014635597. This is the code needed to reset the Security code, nothing else, and it's for your phone only. You type in the security codes (any) until the phone request the Mastercode, when it does, leave your phone still, don't use it for 15 minutes, then type in the Master code. The default security code for Nokia is 12345.
This is software problem of phone. It is necessary to reflash it with fresh version of 6300(RM-217). Your phone is nokia BB5 platform phone and can be flashed by smart tools likes HWK, JAF and BB5 box. It is not big problem but only technician can do this job for you.
Sometimes this might be due to improper battery but i assume that you have checked it properly before posting problem. If not here is checking solution---- Let it be charged and try to power it on, If gets power on then it is battery problem otherwise it will be software problem (even if doesn't get charge). Is it fixing your mind then do vote to FIXYA.....
Nokia 6300 is a BB5 platform phone of Nokia. It is of operating system. Sometimes this happened due to uncertain shut down of phone and sometimes due to currupted file and file system. First try to restart it, if it doen;t works make backup of your important data and restor phone on factory default by using menu. Afterall only reflashing with new version of software is only the way. Reflashing of BB5 is possible only by skilled technician who have special tool like HWK, JAF, BB5 BOX etc. Ask fixya for nearby serviceman.
