I have Delonghi IFD. i never used it for espresso or capuccino. Could you help me ,please. where to add water and how to make a foam. I tried,but did not work. Thank you

It looks like DeLonghi makes 5 different combination coffee machines. If you can find the model number (usually on the back or bottom), the DeLonghi Corporation offers free downloadable manuals at their website under "customer care". The link to the combination machine selection is below :

It will no longer brew. at all. I bought it as a Christmas gift, so we've only had it about 6-7 months! It will not brew, but the power light comes on.

Suddenly stopped working.
If you are talking that the while unit failed or just the coffee? If the light comes on and the coffee is not brewing than it is the heat plate fuse. You need tamper torx bits to open the unit and replace the fuse, radio shack sells them.
