Does the compressor start when you plug it in and turn on ??(do not get mistaken for the internal fan unit noise if it has one) if so, I would be fairly certain the gas has discharged from the unit and is not financially viable to repair, if the compressor does not start, check the defrost timer (usually located near the compressor in the well housing lower rear of the unit, some have them located on the thermostat housing inside the unit, it will have a small dial located in it, look hard for this item, use a screwdriver and turn this dial clockwise, it the unit awakens, replace the timer. The thermostat may have issues as well, do not attempt to pull this apart, it is dangerous and should only be done by qualified tradespersons.
Hope that helps and the unit awakens and gives you many years of trouble free operation.
Dont forget to vote, thankyou and goodluck.
Hey Rene S, thanks for your post!
In order to reset your Frigidaire refrigerator you would need to disconnect power from it for roughly ten minutes. You can do that by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker. If that does not correct your cooling issue I would recommend contacting a professional to come out and diagnosis your appliance to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. -Matt
