I may be the head or head gasket, but the intake gasket can do the same thing and much easier and cheaper to try.
I would remove all the spark plugs and use the tool to presurize the radiator. I would then wait at least an hour with 10 lbs of pressure on the system. Then turn it over withe the staster to see if water comes out a plug hole. Hopefully you will find it leaking at the rear of the intake manifold.
If it will not hold 10psi for the hour, it must be leaking somewhere.
Hope this helps, ROBERT
I've seen sealers that are supposed to work but they run about $100 per application. How well they work, I can't tell you but I believe there is one company that advertises on-line that gives you both tech support and a money back guarantee. Sorry, but I don't remember the name but if you google block sealers you will find it.
It's always best to actually do the job using gaskets and in your case possibly a replacement head. You can usually find a decent one in a scrapyard.
Good luck!!
If you have steam coming from the tail pipe, doing a pressure teat is redundant as you already know there is an internal leak somewhere. if you have a 4.0 engine (you didn't say) no coolant runs through the intake manifold. (no coolant, no leak). You asked for essentially a "quick fix"...I gave you the only kind of quick repair possible. I also told you that the best repair is actually doing a real repair........Bad answer???

You could buy a pour in head gasket repair product (Bar's makes some of the best) but this may not work if the gasket is badly damaged. In any case this solution is only a "bandaid" and usually doesn't last very long.
