Press the MENU Button, then the main menu of the OSD appears.

To access a control, use the UP or DOWN Buttons. When the icon you want

becomes highlighted, press the AUTO/SET Button.

Use the UP/DOWN Buttons to adjust the image to the desired level.

Use the AUTO/SET Button to select other sub-menu items.

Push the MENU Button once to return to the main menu to select another
function. Push the MENU Button twice to exit from the OSD.

THE PROBLEM IS SOME DIRTY ON CONTACT BUTTONS
TURN OFF THE MONITOR AND APLY SOME CONTACT CLEANER SPRAY ON BUTTONS, PRESSING THEY REPEATEDLY SEVERAL TIMES.

I just bought and installed an LG W2053TP Monitor I hooked it up to my computer and now all I get is that it is on Analog power saving mode and we don't know how to get it off that so we can see the desk...

Hi, How do u do?
I guess data cable is not connected, double check the data cable, and try to set the display input manually, (if u user a D-SUB cable, set it to analog/D-SUB, if u use a DVI cable set it to digital/DVI).

The problem is that there is no signal from the graphic / vga card from the PC, check the cable connection from monitor to the PC, or the PC itself got error on memory card or grapic card. Try to clean/ firm the graphic and memory card socket/ connection inside of your PC

On screen menu should have brightness and contrast, and other adjustment.

and a button to activate the OSD?

Adjusting Brightness on LG Flatorn Monitor

You cannot adjust the brightness with the key board. If the brightness control on the monitor is not working. It may due the defect of screen control on the flyback transformer. You have to replace the flyback transformer (FBT)

LG 19 in monitor

it would be helpful to know which monitor you have - each one is a little different... basically, you need to press the "menu" button on your monitor, use the arrow buttons (on monitor, not keyboard) to get to the brightness adjustment screen, hit set, then adjust with arrow buttons, and hit set again, then menu to exit.
