Then, scroll to the third screen of system settings and select "internet

Once you've done this a list of available WIFI connections should come up, Pick yours. If your WIFI WEP-key encoded, you will have to enter it using the touch screen, then select "connect". You should then be connected to your WIFI internet.
If the problem persists, check the model of your WIFI adapter, and make sure its compatible with the Nintendo DSi System.
Depending on which DS you purchase, you can use the console's Wi-Fi settings to play games
against other players around the world or download additional content.
The Nintendo DS and Nintendo DSi allows for gamers to compete with one
another as long as the game being played supports these connections. The
DSi features a built-in web browser as well as a store where entire
games can be purchased and downloaded. In order to access these features
on either console, games must first locate and connect to a wireless
access point.

Things You'll Need
To connect your Nintendo DSi to the Internet, your system will need to be in a Wi-Fi capable hotspot. If you have broadband at home, you'll need to set up a wireless router with a network name and a password. If the public hotspot requires users to enter login information via a webpage, this generally means that it will not work for DSi online play.
In the Settings menu, you'll need to select one of the first three profiles and search for your compatible Wi-Fi hotspot. Once selected, you'll need to enter the password of that hotspot. After a short test to see if the connection will work, as long as the information you've provided is correct your system will connect online. If you receive an error code, please note the digits and check Nintendo's Wi-Fi technical support website at www.nintendowifi.com.
