SOURCE: 2Wire-3700 dsl red light blinking after a thunderstorm
Hi,
If you are att customer, you will be charged $60 only if there is problem inside your premises, otherwise they wont charge you.
Is there any phone connected with your DSL line? if so is it working? if its not working, contact customer support and tell them its not working
If the phone is working, you have to check the connections between the phone line to the modem. As the DSL light is blinking red, its the problem with line and not the modem.
Take care

you need a working PC with Internet connection in order for you to down load the driver. otherwise you have to call ATT and have them send you the driver on a Floppy or CD.

*the speed stream (SS) page would open
*on the left hand side .. click on the login ....it will ask u ..ur user name and the password ..
the user name would be the email address provided to u by the company from where u got the connection...type that in and press connect ...
*there is one other way as well ...on the left hand side click on the advanced ..then click on the connection configuration...it may ask u about the MODEM ACCESS CODE...if it ask u abt that then flip the modem upside down and there would be probally a yellow colour sticker and on that sticker there would be a ten digit code .. type that in and click continue ...
*u would be on the warning page ..it will ask u abt the user name and password and retype password ...type the information ...at the bottom click on the save settings .. it will now ask to restart ..click restart...and u will be connected to the internet .. close the page once done
